Downloads and cookies

A necessary session cookie remembers your download steps for up to 24 hours. Support actions are self-confirmed: we do not connect to your SoundCloud account or verify your likes and follows. A download link works for 15 minutes in the same browser. You can request a fresh link on the track page.

What we count

We count track visits that start a download session, clicks on support links, your confirmations and download starts. These are aggregate counts, not verified followers or completed downloads. We don’t collect fan email addresses or use advertising pixels.

Optional analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits, previews, support clicks and download requests across shakeminstrel.nl and download.shakeminstrel.nl. Analytics cookies and your choice last up to six months. Google receives browser and interaction data; we disable advertising features. You can refuse or withdraw using Analytics preferences below. Downloads work without consent. Download requests in Analytics are not proof of a completed file transfer. See Google’s privacy policy.

Temporary data

Session records expire after 24 hours and are removed within the following hour. Short-lived IP-based rate limits help keep the service available. Our hosting provider may keep technical access logs for security. Owner sign-in uses a separate necessary cookie lasting up to 12 hours.

Other websites

SoundCloud and other social links open third-party services with their own privacy policies. Audio previews are served by this site and do not load a SoundCloud player.
